Already written writing you may purchase if you please...

This is the stuff that's available now - the short stories are all available under WRITERING and the novel is free on Smashwords - so essentially it's all being given away. Hopefully this wont be forever, but it is for now - which is presently the present and my present to you.

Immemorial

In an England still reeling from the largest terrorist attack in its history, torn apart by social unrest, a man wakes to find himself accused of the attack, but with no memory of the event. As he reacquaints himself with the present, he must discover his identity and come to terms with a past that haunts his dreams. Who is Ernest Featherstone? Why can he not remember?

Part satire, part traditional literary dystopia, Immemorial is a dark and witty exploration of identity, morality, religion and relationships against a backdrop of an England in turmoil.

The End Is

London (The Imagination of Large Population Centres and its Possible Adverse Consequences) is a quirky piece of humorous magical realism.

The Collection of Debts is a dystopian short story. I am currently expanding it into a dark fantasy/horror novel and will be looking for beta readers.

Before Forgiveness We Must Beg Our Bread is another dystopian short.

North West Call-Centre Operative Correctly Predicts that Nothing Will Happen is a satirical take on government, intrigue and the end of the world.

The Collection of Debts

A dystopian short story, The Collection of Debts is a study of the negative impact of capitalist 'credit culture', the North-South divide and what it means to lack a stake in the business of humanity. Aiming to be part A Clockwork Orange and part Gulliver's Travels, The Collection of Debts is a fairly short read, but hopefully one with enough to keep you thinking for a while afterwards.
