Stuff you don't really need, or want to know...

John C.P. Warner is the name of a person - a person, coincidentally, to whom this website belongs. This person (whose name is John C.P. Warner - and to whom this website belongs) writes stuff. This writing (which is done by the person whose name is John C.P. Warner and whose website this is) is an odd mixture of literary and genre fiction both funny and foul and most things in between. The name this variagated writing carries is, somewhat confusingly, D.L. Christopher - which is the name he (the person to whom the website belongs and who writes the writing) attaches to the stuff in which he can not get an agent interested - which is everything.

He (John C.P. Warner, not D.L. Christopher - who has no will or desires of his own, what with being a construct) hopes that one day the writing (which he does) will be published by an actual publisher so that he (the owner of this website) is able to stop working and spend more time with his (John C.P. Warner's) partner and two children (the use of the previous possessive apostrophe is to indicate association, not ownership - John C.P. Warner is fervently against the ownership of both partners and children - and anyone else, though he somewhat hypocritically does not extend this abhorrence of ownership to things - he owns things). It (the proper publishing of the currently self-published material) would also have the benefit (to the owner of the website - John C.P. Warner does not presume to assume what may, or may not, be of benefit to any reader) of allowing him to write more writing.

John C.P. Warner (the writer and owner etc.) holds a degree in English literature (though he holds it only figuratively - in truth he has no idea where it is) in which he did some writing, he is presently (though not actually at present - at present he is refering to himself in the third person) studying for a Masters Degree in Creative Writing at John Moore's University, Liverpool, where he has written more writing and will continue to do so (write) for another academic year.
